Description: I designed the ARF Swimming Baetis to imitate the very active baetis nymph. Motion is provided by the marabou tail and the wing case is black flash to imitate a nearly mature bug. The "magic" of peacock tops it all off. The Swimming Baetis is also an excellent attractor nymph.
What it imitates: Baetis (BWO) nymph
When to fish it: Early to mid-spring and again in the fall
Where to fish it: Streams and rivers where there is a Mayfly hatch
How to fish it: Effective when dead drifted, lifted or swung.
Approximate turnaround time to complete order: 2 weeks
MINIMUM ORDER FOR THIS FLY IS 1 UNIT - 1 UNIT CONSISTS OF 1/2 DOZEN FLIES
