Pat Lamonica - Tier

Pat Lamonica, owner of Pat's Custom Flies started tying flies in 2005. Her husband, Angelo, has been a hard core fisherman his whole life and when he found that she had an exceptional talent for tying flies…he started selling her flies to his fishing buddies. What started for Pat as a couple of hours a week filling orders is now a full time career.

Pat and Angelo fish and tie flies for panfish, bass, carp and Great Lakes steelhead. They also make a couple trips each year to the Salt where they stalk the flats and mangroves for bonefish, redfish, snook and tarpon.

Angelo and Pat are the perfect team. Angelo has developed many interesting and unique flies, but is only able to produce a couple a night. Pat then picks up the pace and is able to duplicate the original fly and fill all her custom orders. All of Pat’s Custom Flies offered on MyFlies are personally tied by Pat.
