Tier's Note: Black Stonefly Nymphs are an important part to a fly fisherman's arsenal . So one day I decided to come up with a pattern that would be as realistic as I could get it . The woven body makes creates segmentations and makes it look like it can twist and bend just like a live Critter . It's tied on a #6 swimming nymph hook to add additional realism. The fly comes mounted in a realistic underwater stream setting and is covered with an attractive glass dome to protect it.
