Artist Note: The Brown & White Duck Quill Butterfly Dome is truly a unique item that pushes the envelop of artistic fly tying and presentation; this realistic butterfly pattern is beautifully displayed in a natural setting as if gently resting in a field. The wings of the butterfly are composed of brown and white mottled duck quills that blend attractively with the natural components of the display, all of which are real, dried plants. The display is protected by a glass dome (not shown in the photo) that rests upon a solid oak base. Each butterfly dome I create is unique in its composition and components.
