Description: The ARF Bunny Shrimp pattern has enough movement to entice strikes from even the pickiest of fish. The materials I've selected provide maximum durability and animation; the bead chain eyes placed at the rear of the hook give the fly a horizontally balanced attitude in the water. It is most useful on bonefish and other flats species. Because it's important to select a fly that matches the bottom, I've created the ARF Bunny Shrimp in 4 enticing colors, olive, pink, tan and white.
What is imitates: Shrimp, Baitfish
When to fish it: Effective for sight fishing to any species found feeding on the flats.
Where to fish it: Best fished in 4 feet of water or less. Fish it over sand, eel grass, coral, oyster beds or mud. Choose a color to match whatever you are fishing over.
How to fish it: Allow the fly to reach the bottom, then strip it back in short rapid spurts or retrieve in moderate speed 6 to 12 inch pulls.
