Description: This Caddis Cripple is a great fly for the Mother's Day Caddis hatch. It is designed so the wing and thorax lay on the meniscus and the abdomen is under the meniscus. It looks like a caddis that can not get air born. An easy meal for any opportunistic trout! Fly tested, trout approved.
What it imitates: A crippled caddis on the meniscus
When to fish it: During a caddis hatch, but especially effective during the Mother's Day Hatch which can be anytime between April and late May; depending on where you live.
Where to fish it: Any waters that have a caddis population
How to fish it: Dead drift, up, across or down stream
