Description - The Chain Gang Caddis is another fly in Dean Myers' award winning Chain Gang fly series. Caddis are very prevalent in streams throughout the U.S. and Canada and this fly was developed to be fished all over. The bead chain helps get the fly down through the water columns quickly where feeding fish are. The metallic beads give the fly a translucent-like quality and moves like the natural does.
Tier's Note: Three colors are available - Green, Tan and Yellow. To ensure you have the right color for the waters you are fishing, Dean is offering the Chain Gang Caddis in individual colors or as a set - 3 of each color.
What it imitates: Caddis emerger and pupa
When to fish it: Spring and Fall
Where to fish it: Any waters where there is a caddis population - freestone rivers, streams, tailwaters, etc.
How to fish it: Dead drift along the bottom. At the end of the drift, let the fly rise naturally to the surface before stripping in.
Approximate time to complete this order: 7 - 10 days
