Description: The Chain Gang Kermit is a frog imitation that has great movement. The bead chain legs create a view that the frog is kicking. When you pause this popper, the chain creates enough weight to drop the tail end enough to imitate the way a frog comes to rest at the surface for some air. This pattern also has a weed guard so you can put it in those weedy areas where bass like to live.
What it imitates: Frog
When to fish it: Any time
Where to fish it: Lakes, ponds or slow moving waters where bass live
How to fish it: Cast , leave fly sit several seconds. Begin popping fly (strip it) back to you. Pause. Repeat. Vary the length of time that you pause and the distance you strip back to you. The fish will tell you how much and fast they want the fly moving by smashing it. Another way to present it is to use a steady retrieve with little or no pauses.
