Stroup's seven common-sense principles along with the illustrations by Dave Hall take a lot of the frustrating guesswork out of what many consider a difficult sport. Eric does not overwhelm you with technique, but rather breaks fly fishing down into simple concepts that are easy to grasp and retain.
This is an excellent book for any beginning angler or angler wanting to get more from their fishing experience.
