Description: The Electric Leech is a true spectrumized fly; a combination of many colors to achieve one final product. This leech pattern combines over seven different colors of angora goat, African goat and trilobal fibers along with five colors of flashabou dubbing. This is, by far, the most productive leech pattern that I have ever tied on to the end of my leader!
What it imitates: Leech, baitfish, crayfish
When to fish it: All year, but especially in the spring and late fall.
Where to fish it: Stillwaters, freestone rivers, tailwaters
How to fish it: A variety of different retrieves and lines will work for the Electric Leech. Fish it anywhere from 1 to 20 feet down. Leeches move early and late in the day as well as during low light periods.
