Descrition: This is my newest "go to fly" because I designed it to match many different hatches (caddis, midge, or mayfly; adults, cripples. or duns) on spring creeks and tailwaters. This fly rides low in the water, but is visible in low light conditions or high glare.
What it imitates: Mayfly adult, cripple or, dun. Midge adult. Caddis adult.
When to fish it: I fish this anytime prior to or during a hatch of midge, mayfly, or caddis making sure to match similar size and color. This fly can also be used as a searching pattern when there are no insects seen on the the water.
Where to fish it: Spring creeks, tailwaters, rivers, or streams.
How to fish it: Best fished as a single dry.
