For tying Czech Nymphs it allows several layers to be added depending on the depth the fly is intended to be fished. The smooth transition between lead and hook is much easier to deal with and there is much less wasted time and materials used to give you the shape and weight that is necessary.
3 sizes are available - Fine, Medium, Heavy and each is available either with Lead or Lead-free.
