Wet Fly Waterguides Specializes in the Classic Art of Wet Fly Fishing

is owned and operated by Dave Allbaugh and is a fly fishing guide service that focuses specifically on the nearly lost art of fly fishing with wet flies. We guide our clients on some of Central and North Central Pennsylvania's finest limestone and freestone streams. Our mission is to educate novice as well as seasoned fly anglers to this traditional way of fly fishing and demonstrate that it is still as productive today as it was back in the day. Our guide trips are designed to get our clients on our pristine waters and where appropriate to instruct them on techniques, equipment, and the flies that it takes to become a successful wet fly fisherman.

The waters we guide on are legendary here in the east; streams like Spring Cr, Penn's Cr, Little Juniata River, Kettle Cr and Pine Cr. These waters have an abundance of prolific hatches throughout the entire season. Our maximum two-anglers per guide ensure that each client receives the personal touch that we are known for. Our one-day walk-in-and-wade guide trips include the opportunity for each client to fish two streams. Each stream has its own unique characteristics.

Join us to learn more about this very successful old school method of fly fishing in beautiful Pennsylvania. Our promise to you is that your trip will be a memorable one.
