Arkansas Guides

Coming to Arkansas to fly fish? You’re in for a special treat!

Whether you are hoping for a White River Grand Slam, learning new waters or improving your fishing skills, a guided trip with me allows you to: maximize your limited time on water, hone your fishing skills (should they need honing), and have the best possible fly fishing experience and a day to remember. You will have my undivided attention.

I make my home in the Ozarks which provides some of the finest trout fly fishing water you will find in the world. I guide as well as own and operate an international fly fishing school. So whether you are a novice or expert, you can rest assured that you are with an experienced, professional and knowledgeable guide.

River Fly Fishing

The Ozark Mountains offers excellent fly fishing options. The White River and the North Fork River (a.k.a. Norfork River) provide first class trout fly fishing. Wild trout fishing awaits you in the upper North Fork River. Smallmouth and Sunfish action abound in the Buffalo National River and adds another dimension to Ozark fisheries, as do the Spring River, Crooked Creek, and the Little Red River - all of which I fish and upon which I conduct guided fly fishing trips.

Catching Trophy Trout

The White and North Fork rivers are noted for big fish.Fall to early spring offers the best opportunity and so does night fishing during the summer. l will do my utmost to make this happen for you.

Lake Fly Fishing

Bull Shoals Lake or Norfork Lake Bream, offers the best fly rod opportunities for crappie, striped, hybrid, largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass. Depending on the time of year and water levels, splitting your day between cold and warm water fishing can really enhance your fishing experience.

Night Fly Fishing

The best opportunity for catching large trout at dusk and after darkness largely depends on the time of year, climate conditions and water levels. I will advise you of the feasibility of night fishing at the time of your trip.  You may choose to fish part day and part of a night.

Corporate and Group Rates
