Description: As a guide, I developed the Humpulator so it would float all day, would be great suspending a dropper in rough water or while fishing from a drift boat and easy to see on the water. The palmered hackle, sparkle yarn abdomen, and calf tail wing all provide superb buoyancy and are topped off with a foam shell-back. The H-Vis indicator makes the fly very easy to see.
What it imitates: Stoneflies, hoppers, or a general all-around attractor.
When to fish it: During Stonefly hatches, when hoppers are present, or as a searching pattern or to suspend a dropper.
Where to fish it: Tailwaters, Freestone rivers and lakes
How to fish it: Effective dead drifted, twitched, or skated
Approximate turnaround time to complete this order: 2 weeks
