With the movement of the back half of the fly and the soft hackle legs, it is hard for fish to resist this chunky nymph. Designed for steelhead and salmon, this fly is also a great fly for perch, walleye, and many other warmwater species on lakes and with a significant emergence.

Where to fish it: Genereally, fished low in the water column
How to fish it: Fish it at a dead drift, but at the end of the drift allow the fly to swing out. Many times the strike will come on the swing.
