Description: In keeping with the success of my JC's Electric Caddis flies, I have created a JC's Electric Steelie Caddis and Steelie Stone. With JC's Electric Steelie Caddis, I continue to incorporate the translucent properties of the wire through clear, hollow stretch tubing; wrapped over an underbody of tying thread. With the endless color combinations that make up many of today's steelhead flies, this technique was a natural.

What it imitates: Caddis larva
When to fish it: Anytime Steelhead are in a trib or river system.
Where to fish it: Great Lakes Tributaries in the East and Midwest, rivers in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.
How to fish it: Dead drifted, either tight-line or under an indicator.
