Description: I designed the Electric Steelie Stone to incorporate the translucent properties of the the wire through clear, hollow stretch tubing, wrapped over an under-body of tying thread or tinsel. By doing this, it gives the nymph a more "life-like" appearance. When tied in the brighter colors, they "glow" underwater. The Electric Steelie Stone was developed this last fall for the Salmon River in NY and met with "Excellent" results then and still does now!

What it imitates: Stonefly nymph
When to fish it: Any time there are steelhead in the water system
Where to fish it: Any tributary or river system (Great Lakes, Eastern, Midwestern, Pacific or Alaskan) that supports a steelhead population
How to fish it: Dead drifted, either tight-lined or under an indicator.
