Description: The Juicebox was an egg fly from the mind of photographer/designer Matt Grajewski and named by his daughter. Having the beadhead incorporated into the fly itself allows for less weight on the line. This egg gets down all on its own, and that quicker fall rate means more time in the strike zone.
What it imitates: Fish egg
When to fish it: During a salmon or steelhead run
Where to fish it: Deep holding water behind gravel
How to fish it: Cast to the drop off behind gravel and let the fly drop down and dead drift the dark water. Fish can't help but eat the eggs that wash out of the redds.
Approximate turnaround time to complete this order: Generally, 7 days
MINIMUM ORDER FOR THIS FLY IS 1 UNIT - 1 UNIT CONSISTS OF 1/2 DOZEN FLIES
