Michael grew up in Pennsylvania and intimately learned the waters in his home state as well as New Jersey and New York. Although he considers Central PA his "home" waters and primarily guides in that region on its well known Lime Stone & Free Stone streams, the river that he holds above all and keeps close to his heart is the South Fork of the Snake River, in Idaho.
