Description: If any water you fish has sculpins or rock hoppers it is a safe bet that the local big fish are eating them. With that in mind the Creek Thing was born. It is a mottled fly with just enough flash to give the appearance of translucence.
What it imitates: Sculpins, Rock Hoppers
When to fish it: Any time, but stained water makes it especially deadly!
Where to fish it: Any moving water
How to fish it: Sculpins and rock hoppers are on the bottom of the water column so that is where you want this fly to spend the most time. Get the fly down by introducing a slack loop to your drift and then retrieve it back with short erratic bursts
Approximate time to complete this order: Generally, one week
MINIMUM QUANTITY FOR THIS FLY IS 1 UNIT - 1 UNIT CONSISTS OF 1/2 DOZEN FLIES
