Description: The KISS is a deadly fly. Despite it's simple design, the KISS holds a great profile in the water and has a nice subdued sparkle. It's a tasty little nugget that gets the fish going. With normal water clarity I fish the 8 and 10 for salmon and the 10 and 12 for steelhead.
What it imitates: Stonefly
When to fish it: Fall salmon and spring steelhead runs
Where to fish it: Rivers and tributaries that support fall salmon and spring steelhead runs
How to fish it: Generally, fished low in the water column and fished at a dead drift, but at the end of the drift allow the fly to swing out, many times the strike will come on the swing. I like to use this fly as the front fly in a two fly rig with an egg tumbling off the back.
Approximate time to complete this order: Generally, one week
MINIMUM ORDER FOR THIS FLY IS 1 UNIT - 1 UNIT CONSISTS OF 1/2 DOZEN FLIES
