Description: A number of years ago, I was at a fly tying meeting, along with several guides and fellow tiers; we were all tying and sharing our favorite flies. One boat captain tied what he called a Parachute Squid Fly. It was a simple tie and certainly different. He explained how over the years, the Parachute was consistent in catching the most fish. I thought to myself, "everyone says that". After his demonstration, he showed a short video that showed "all" the fish being caught on this fly. That got my attention! I immediately started tying and fishing the Parachute and I began to see, for myself, just how effective this fly is. Everyone I give or sell this fly too, are amazed at how productive it is.

Where to fish it: Rip currents, deep waters
How to fish it: 350 gram or heavier sink tip; cast it out and let the water move the fly. HOLD ON!
